The first step to reviving downtown is to get our historic Main Street brewing and buzzing as a retail + dining destination again—like it was in 2019! Then we build from there.

From the Promenade to California Street to Thompson to Main, our walkways, roads, and sidewalks need serious efforts to repave, clean, and beautify—with zero potholes, weeds, and dirt—instead smooth streets, clean walkways, and maintainable native landscaping.

From Mission Park to Plaza Park to the Promenade, this is when we turn our existing pedestrian-only areas into community spaces that bring locals together—and generate their own revenue for the city.

We activate what we already have to create “destinations” or “districts” within the downtown area for a truly walkable downtown—from historic Main Street to the Promenade to our own Funk Zone, plus arts, culture, and green spaces.
